Link in Bio Maker
Build a personal links page with your name, bio, photo, buttons and icons, then download it as a single index.html file you can host anywhere.
Show the HTML
🔒 Your text and photo stay in your browser. The photo is resized on your device and written into the file; nothing is uploaded.
🔒 Everything you type stays in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.

What this tool makes
A “link in bio” page is one small web page that lists everything you want people to find: your shop, your newsletter, your latest video, a booking form. You put its address in the single link slot that social apps give you. Hosted services such as Linktree do this on their own domain. This maker instead builds the page as one file, index.html, that you own and can put on any web host.
The file is self-contained: the styles, the icons and your photo are all inside it. It loads no fonts, scripts, trackers or images from anywhere else, so it is small and quick to open on a phone.
How to use it
- Type your name and a one or two line bio.
- Optional: choose a profile photo. It is cropped to a square and shrunk on your device. With no photo, your initials appear in a circle.
- Edit the links. Each one needs button text and an address. Use the arrows to reorder and ✕ to remove.
- Add icons for the small round row at the bottom: pick a type and paste the address.
- Pick a colour theme, font, button shape and button style. The phone preview updates as you type.
- Press Download index.html.
What the options mean
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Links | Large buttons in the order you set. Addresses may be web links (https://), email (mailto:) or phone (tel:). A plain email address or phone number is converted for you, and https:// is added to a bare domain. |
| Icon row | Small circular icons. They are generic shapes (envelope, globe, phone) or two-letter initials such as IG or YT, not official brand logos. Each icon has a text label for screen readers. |
| Font | Uses fonts already on the visitor’s device, so the exact typeface varies a little between phones and computers. |
| Button style | Solid fills the button; outline draws only the border. |
Any row whose address is not a valid http, https, mailto or tel link is left out of the page, and the status line under the preview tells you how many rows were skipped.
How to host the page for free
You need a static host: a service that serves plain files. Several have free plans for small personal sites, including Cloudflare Pages, GitHub Pages and Netlify. The general idea is the same on each:
- Create an account and start a new site or project.
- Give it your file. Some hosts let you upload a folder from your computer; others publish the contents of a code repository. Either way, the file must be named
index.htmland sit at the top level, because that is the name a web server shows for the site’s home address. - The host gives you a web address on its own domain. Open it on your phone to check it, then paste it into your profile.
Menus and free plan limits change, so follow the host’s current documentation for the exact steps.
Updating the page later
This tool does not save your work. To change a link, fill the form in again or edit the downloaded file in a text editor, then upload the new index.html over the old one. A static file has no click statistics of its own.
Tips
- Put the most important link first, and write button text that says what happens: “Book a 30-minute call” rather than “Click here”.
- Turn the finished address into a code for posters or business cards with the QR code generator.
- Pair the page with a matching email signature.
Frequently asked questions
Is this link in bio maker free?
Yes. You can build and download as many pages as you like. There is no account and no watermark on the downloaded page.
Where is my page hosted?
Nowhere until you upload it. The tool gives you an index.html file. You put that file on a static web host of your choice, many of which have free plans, and that host gives you the address to share.
Does the downloaded page load anything from other websites?
No. The CSS, the icons and your photo are all inside the one file. The page makes no requests to other servers when it opens; it only links out when a visitor taps a button.
What happens to my profile photo?
It is read by your browser, cropped to a square, shrunk to 256 by 256 pixels and written into the HTML file as embedded data. It is not uploaded to ToolsCloset.
Why did one of my links disappear from the preview?
Only http, https, mailto and tel addresses are allowed. If an address uses another scheme or cannot be read as a valid address, that row is skipped and the status line tells you.
Can I edit the page after downloading it?
Yes. It is ordinary HTML with the styles in a style block at the top, so you can open it in any text editor, change text, colours or links, and upload it again.
