NET aggregate formula
Aggregate = (Matric ÷ 1100 × 10) + (FSc ÷ 1100 × 15) + (NET ÷ 200 × 75)

Example: Matric 980/1100, FSc 900/1100 and NET 150/200: 8.91 + 12.27 + 56.25 = 77.43%.
The NET is marked out of 200 and counts for 75% of your merit, so every 10 NET marks moves your aggregate by 3.75%. Students still in A-level use different weights for O-level equivalence, and international seats on SAT/ACT follow separate rules. Check NUST’s official admissions page for your category.
Tips to improve your merit
- The test has the biggest weight you can still change, so focus your preparation there.
- Use the target box to see exactly how many marks you need, and practise past papers under timed conditions.
- Apply to several universities and programs, since cut-offs change every year.

What is the NET aggregate formula?
(Matric ÷ 1100 × 10) + (FSc ÷ 1100 × 15) + (NET ÷ 200 × 75).
Can I use FSc part 1 marks?
If your final FSc result isn’t out yet, universities often accept part 1 marks (out of 550). Enter 550 as the FSc total in that case, and check the admission notice.
