How to calculate percentage from marks
Percentage = Marks obtained ÷ Total marks × 100
Example: 945 out of 1100 = 945 ÷ 1100 × 100 = 85.91%.
Traditional board grades

| 80% and above | A+ (A-one) |
| 70–79% | A |
| 60–69% | B |
| 50–59% | C |
| 40–49% | D |
| 33–39% | E |
| Below 33% | F (fail) |
Some boards have introduced newer grading schemes, so your result card may show a different grade. The percentage is always the same.
