Is a virtual coin flip fair?
Yes. Each flip uses your browser’s cryptographically secure random generator, so heads and tails are exactly 50/50. Real coins are almost fair: a 2023 study of 350,757 flips found they land on the same side they started about 50.8% of the time.

- Flip 10 coins and getting exactly 5 heads happens only about 25% of the time.
- Streaks are normal: in 100 flips, a run of 6 or more of the same side is more likely than not.
