What’s a normal reaction time?
The average person reacts to a visual signal in about 250 milliseconds (a quarter of a second) on a test like this. Under 200 ms is very fast; professional gamers and sprinters are often in the 150–200 ms range. Your score includes the delay of your mouse or screen, which can add 10–50 ms.

What affects reaction time?
