🔒 We never ask for your bot token. You add it to a file on your own computer. Everything on this page runs in your browser.
🔒 Everything you type stays in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.

How to use the server template
- Pick a template that’s close to what you want: gaming, study group, community, creator or business.
- Edit the layout. A plain line is a category. Lines starting with
#are text channels, and lines starting with 🔊 are voice channels. Add(private)for staff-only areas and(read-only)for announcement channels. - Edit the roles. One per line: name, then
admin, modormember, then an optional colour like#3498db. - Download the ZIP and follow the README: create a bot in the Developer Portal, add its token to
.env, invite it, and runstart.bat. - The script creates everything, tells you what it made, and stops. You can then remove the bot from your server.
The script is safe to run on an existing server: it never deletes anything and skips channels and roles that already exist.
Tips for a good server layout
- Start small. Five to ten channels is plenty for a new server. Empty channels make a server feel dead.
- Put information first. Rules and announcements at the top, set to read-only so they stay clean.
- Give staff a private space for discussions and a mod log.
- Keep roles simple. Admin, moderator and member cover most servers. Give Administrator only to people you fully trust.
- Use clear names like
#homework-helprather than inside jokes, so new members know where to post.
What do the role levels mean?
| Level | Permissions |
|---|---|
| admin | Administrator: full control of the server. |
| mod | Kick, ban and time out members, manage messages and nicknames, view the audit log. |
| member | No extra permissions; the role is for colour, grouping and access. |
Want welcome messages, moderation and role buttons too? Build a full bot with the Discord bot maker, which includes this server setup as a command.
Keep your token secret
Your bot token is like a password: anyone who has it can control your bot. That’s why this tool never asks for it. Don’t post it in chats, screenshots or GitHub. If it ever leaks, press Reset Token in the Developer Portal and update your .env file.

Frequently asked questions
Is this the same as Discord’s built-in server templates?
No. Discord’s own templates are shared links. This tool lets you design any layout and builds it in your server with a small script, including in servers that already exist.
Will it delete my existing channels?
No. It only creates what’s missing. Nothing is ever deleted or renamed.
Can I run it more than once?
Yes. Change the layout in config.json and run it again; it adds only the new items.
Why does it need a bot?
Only a bot can create channels and roles automatically. The bot is yours, and you can remove it after setup.
